With this Myanmar photography tour you will discover there is nowhere more peaceful and picturesque than the exquisite country of Myanmar to get completely lost into your photography. Stunning stupas, beautiful landscapes and incredibly captivating Tanika painted people. Burma has it all!
This Myanmar photography tour starts in the north-eastern town of Lashio, where you will take a short river ride to the market town of Hispaw. From here you will continue by train to the former British hill station of Maymyo, then onwards to the old royal capital in Mandalay.
Watch the sun go down at the world’s longest wooden bridge and visit the forgotten imperial capital of Ava and the monastic Sagaing hill. From Mandalay head west to Monywa, a picturesque town on the bank of the Chindwin River, home to temples and caves carved from the volcanic rock with mural paintings from the 13th and 18th centuries.
Picturesque Bagan is your next destination of your Myanmar Photography tour, which you will reach by boat with over 4000 temples, stupas and pagodas waiting to be discovered. Enjoy a birds eye view of the area from a hot-air balloon before spending time on the water in the picturesque Inle lake.
