About this Tour
Our ‘Cambodia Hotspots’ Tour is the perfect way for you to experience Cambodian culture and the two key cities, which make this captivating country tick. Starting in Phnom Penh, you will get an introduction to the ‘Pearl of Asia’ on a three-wheel traditional cyclo ride, which takes in all of the main sites the capital has to offer – the perfect way to get your bearings in a new city. You will next get to learn about Cambodia’s harrowing past with a day tour to both the infamous Toul Sleng (S-21) Museum and the Killing Fields site situated just outside Phnom Penh. You then return to the city to discover the fascinating Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, which is home to the current King of Cambodia, Norodom Sihamoni.
The second part of your adventure takes you to Siem Reap, ‘Heart of Cambodia’. You have the choice of travelling overland, which takes you past Skun, where you can try deep-fried tarantula, and the Santuk Silk Farm, where you stop for lunch. Alternatively, you do have the option to fly if you wish.
Once in Siem Reap you will experience the fascinating floating villages of Cambodia on a Tonle Sap tour. As well as the mesmerising circus, which is a mixture of acrobatics, music and culture all rolled into one. Then no visit to Cambodia is complete without immersing yourself in the magnificent Angkor Temple Complex, which is a wonderful experience for everyone, whatever your interests. There is no way that these hand-built structures will not blow your senses.
