Asia has an abundance of incredible options that will get you off the main tourist trails, out of the towns and cities and in to the countryside to explore the real Asia.
We are able to offer stunning jungle walks and treks where you can explore pristine forests that have various wildlife spotting opportunities depending how deep you go. On the other hand we can add to your existing travel itinerary, giving you free days in areas which are great for having a run and keeping up that fitness. Or we can either arrange for you to run with a local or expat in country or simply plan your holiday around an existing event such as some of the marathon dates listed below. Whatever you are after we have are sure to have the perfect solution.
Marathon Packages
See Asia Differently are delighted to be offering the running community some fantastic full and half marathon packages in Asia. A marathon is not a marathon until you have run some of these incredible routes such as the marathons in Siem Reap (Cambodia) with the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat as your back drop.
We have been selling marathon packages for some time now and even though official organisation is pretty good, the attention to detail for the runners is often lacking in areas such as pick-ups and drop offs being on time as well as the distribution of information. We know runners don’t want to be hanging around the finish line trying to work out how to get back to the hotel. This is why for each marathon package bought though See Asia Differently, you will be assigned your very own personal driver to look after you for the duration of your stay in Asia.
Jungle Walks and Treks
Asia has an abundance of fantastic jungle trekking and walking areas, which provides us with the scope to tailor make the perfect Asian jungle discovery trek just for you. Our tours vary in regards to the region and the various wildlife, flora and fauna that you get to see. They are also specially graded in order to meet all different abilities and fitness levels.
On our trekking and waking tours you will see some amazing wildlife, hill tribes and villages, plus the chance to bathe in the waterfalls and rivers.
Specialist equipment and meals are provided throughout your chosen Cambodia trek. Please Note, this does not include footwear. Always make sure that you bring suitable walking boots.
Longer treks go deeper into jungle areas, providing the best opportunity to see wildlife. Asian black bear and leopards are indigenous to these regions. Dhole (asian wild dog) jungle cats, deer, gazelles, otters, wild pigs, wild water buffalo, East Asian Porcupines, eagles, vultures, bluebirds, bee eaters, egrets, bats, parrots, parakeets and other tropical birds are frequently spotted on our Asian treks.
” Being very independent travellers my husband and I were sceptical of booking such a holiday. But now experiencing how See Asia Differently has crafted their tours we will definitely be returning to experience a different part of the Asia with them. Even though our tour was set before we left we had the flexibility to stop and start when we wanted, which gave us time to interact with the people and stop off when we saw something interesting. I can’t say enough, Myanmar (Burma) and our holiday experience was exceptional. “
